Inspite of this nothing was cheap especially the hotels which usually one can get at good price in shoulder season. This time before going, we try to learn Greek language by Dulingo app which helped us a lot and also we read Greek history a bit which made our trip little interesting as we were trying to find it in the stones of the Acropolis and the ruins of Delphi. On 1st October when we were to travel there was a nationwide strike and for a day Greece reminded us that it is not only about ancient temples and sunsets but also about the pulse of European nation where people can go for strikes and rallies. Plans shifted, ferries paused and the city took a different pace—but that too became part of the story Overall we found Greece is a blend of timeless history, breathtaking beauty and at present moment unfolding to welcome more tourists.
